It is 800 metres from the villa to the nearest lift and 1.5 km to Terma Bania. You can see the Pieniny, the castles on Lake Czorsztyn and Zakopane in a single day trip.
One day in Białka
A day that begins with the view from your balcony
In the morning you open the balcony door and check whether the sun is shining over the Tatras. After breakfast in the kitchen on the half-landing you put on your jackets and set off on foot. In winter to the slope, in summer to the river or a cycling trail.
In the afternoon you sink into the warm water of Terma Bania. In the evening the children play table football and you plan tomorrow at the table. In Białka everything is close, so more time is left for what you came for.
Winter
Skiing starts 800 metres from your door
Białka is one of the most popular ski destinations in Poland. Seven lifts operate within 1.5 km of the villa, so in the morning you do not waste time in traffic jams looking for parking.
Kotelnica Białczańska
The resort describes itself as the largest ski station in Podhale. Over a dozen kilometres of snowmaking and lit runs: gentle slopes for beginners and families and more demanding descents for advanced skiers. You can ski in the evening too.
Nearest lift
The Andrzej Kuruc lift is about a 10-minute walk with skis on your shoulder. A good choice for the first runs of the day and for teaching children.
Ski school and snowpark
The STOK school teaches children, adults and advanced skiers. Younger riders have a snowpark with obstacles at every level.
Cross-country skiing
Four free loops from 1.25 to 4.38 km between Kotelnica and Jankulakowski Wierch. The trails are lit, snowmade and groomed.
Tatry Super Ski pass
One pass works at 19 resorts in Poland and Slovakia. The Ski + Pools option combines skiing with entry to the thermal pools.
Terma Bania after skiing
Warm water, wellness zones and play areas for children. After a whole day on the slope your legs will thank you.

Summer
Mountains, river and bike in one place
In summer Białka slows down. The slopes turn green, the air by the river smells of sun-warmed stone, and from Kotelnica you can see three mountain ranges at once.
The Kotelnica cable car
A ride up with a view of the Tatras, Gorce and Pieniny. You can take your bike with you and ride the trail back down.
Gravity Park
Downhill trails for beginner and advanced cyclists. You ride up by cable car, so all your time goes on descents.
For children on Kotelnica
The Elf Village playground and monster rollers, that is, off-road scooters on fat tyres. Laughter guaranteed for the whole family.
The Białka Gorge
A reserve where the river cuts through limestone rocks. From the Obłazowa Rock, about 53 m above the water, you can see the Tatras, and in its cave the oldest known boomerang, made of mammoth tusk, was found. Below there is a pebble beach and cold, crystal-clear water for a quick dip in the heat.
Velo Czorsztyn
An easy loop around Lake Czorsztyn, about 36 km, mostly on asphalt. On the way there are the castles in Niedzica and Czorsztyn and the dam. Between the castles you can cross by seasonal boat together with your bike.
Rafting on the Dunajec
On a timber raft through the Pieniny, from Sromowce Wyżne to Szczawnica: about 18 km and 2 hours 15 minutes among rocks and river bends.
Trails in the Tatras
Białka lies at the foot of the Tatras. You set off for the trails of the Tatra National Park, including to Morskie Oko, after a short drive.
Concerts and festivals
In summer open-air concerts from folk to rock are held beneath Kotelnica, and in August the Kotelnica Summer Festival takes place.
An evening in the garden
When you come back from a trip, a wooden gazebo with a grill and a place for a campfire await in the garden. Sausages sizzle, the sky above the spruces turns pink, and the children run on the grass for a little longer.

For a day trip
Zakopane
Krupówki, Gubałówka and the Wielka Krokiew ski jump. You return in the evening to peaceful Białka, away from the city crowds.
Niedzica Castle
A 14th-century castle on Lake Czorsztyn, now a museum with a view of the dam and the ruins of the castle in Czorsztyn.
Belianska Cave
The only cave in the Tatras open to visitors, on the Slovak side. The route is 1,370 m and takes about 70 minutes, and it was one of the first caves in Europe to be electrically lit, in 1896.
Thermal baths nearby
Terma Bania is open all year round, 1.5 km from the villa. Warm water tastes just as good in January after skiing as in July after a mountain trail.

- Saturday: skiing on Kotelnica from opening, lunch at the villa, the afternoon at Terma Bania.
- Sunday: morning runs on an empty slope or cross-country skiing, check-out by 10:00.
A summer weekend
- Friday: arrival, a grill in the gazebo and a campfire in the garden.
- Saturday: rafting on the Dunajec in the morning, in the afternoon Niedzica Castle and Velo Czorsztyn.
- Sunday: a walk to the Białka Gorge and a dip in the river, then the Kotelnica cable car with a view of the Tatras.
