A house under a spruce where you feel at home
A family guesthouse on ul. Środkowa in Białka Tatrzańska. The hosts are on site, and every guest is someone to us, not a room number.
Where the name comes from
“Smrek” is the highland word for spruce
Right next to the villa grows a tall, dark green spruce. In winter, covered in snow, it looks like something from a Christmas card. The house name and our logo come from it.
The villa has wooden balconies, a pitched roof and a stone foundation, as befits Podhale. In the evening it glows with warm light, and from the balcony you watch dusk colour the sky above the spruce.
What it is like here
Peace, cleanliness and someone to help
We have 11 rooms for 2 to 5 people. Each has a private bathroom with a shower, and most have their own balcony. On the half-landing a fully equipped kitchen awaits, where you cook whenever you like.
Guests most often write in their reviews about three things: cleanliness, quiet and a helpful hostess. We make sure that when you come back from the mountains everything is ready for your rest.
What is new
We have refreshed the grounds around the villa
In recent months a new, spacious paved car park and a convenient access road have been built. The grounds gained a fence, decorative stones and new plantings: dwarf mountain pine, hydrangeas and ornamental shrubs. With every season the garden will look more beautiful.
You park free of charge right by the entrance, and in the garden a wooden gazebo with a grill and a place for a campfire await.
